This is a very powerful expression. Noticed you added a streak of yellow to the portrait, which I think is great. She is surrounded by something else around her right now..

Wow, that’s great, thanks - Sounds of Silence seems to have brought forth more memories and struck a few emotional chords than any painting I’ve done in a long time. Maybe more winter scenes…

Very Nice! It reminds me of early winter snowfalls when it’s kind of wet and packs easily. It’s the time when kids make snowmen. Later the snow is to dry. This is the time when we dragged out the snowmobile and it would get stuck in the soft packy snow and in the forest it would fall from the trees down your neck —- burrrr — but this phase didn’t last long before the weather got colder. I think you captured for me that short time of the year (Back in Ontario) with this painting.

Hello Nikki,
I love this painting, it brings out what your thoughts, and how you enjoy doing this, You are branching out into another area. Keep doing this….. You are a true artist now, and go to all the shows where ever they are. Just enjoy it.
I wished I could do this also. I should have started something long time ago, but I did not do that as other things were going on.

I think so too. watercolor allows one to wander around in your painting. It kind of fades out here and there granting ones imagination to finish it.
