Southern Utah

 14 x 11 Oil Pastels on paper

Has white double mat 3″ wide and classic style white wooden frame, total size 26 x 22 inches. Part of the Paper Places series, the poem Essence of Place accompanies each piece in the collection.

This is the first of many drawings or paintings planned on the subject of rock formations. I find driving anywhere preferable to flying because of scenery like this.; the colors and patterns of the landscape in Southern Utah are stunning.
